Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi received the delegation led by Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the State of Qatar, at the respective ministries in Nay Pyi Taw on 30 September.
- During the meeting between Union Minister for Foreign Affairs and Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the State of Qatar, they discussed potential areas for cooperation in Myanmar’s agriculture, healthcare, technology, energy and mining sectors, as well as investment opportunities in Myanmar for Qatari companies.
- During the meeting between Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation and Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of the State of Qatar, they discussed bilateral cooperation in the mineral sector between Myanmar and Qatar.
Also present at the meetings were Deputy Minister, the permanent secretary, and departmental officials of the relevant ministries, it is reported.
