World Atomic Week Forum 2025 Opens in Russia

The opening ceremony of World Atomic Week Forum 2025 was held in Moscow, Russia, on 25 September, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the experts, media representatives, and officials from over 100 countries attended the forum.

          The forum is an international forum where the countries which are interested in using nuclear energy for peaceful purpose. It discussed the potential future impacts of nuclear energy, scientific and technological energy sectors, environmental conservation, and healthcare.

          At the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Russia’s ROSATOM Technical Academy and Yangon Technological University of Myanmar. According to the agreement, the two countries will enhance cooperation in nuclear science, technology, research, and human resource development. This includes exchanging curricula and participating in international projects to implement joint initiatives, reports say.
