Mini Gems Emporium 2021 Continues for Fourth Day

The Mini Gems Emporium 2021 continued for the fourth day on 20 December at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw and 199 lots of jade were sold. Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi and officials attended the occasion and observed the auction of pearl and jade lots in which local and foreign gems traders are bidding to purchase them through open tender.

Local and foreign gem traders were able to see the pearls lots on display inside the Mani Yadana Jade Hall and placed bids in the tender boxes. Then, the officials opened the bids for jade lots and 199 lots of jade were sold through open tender on 20 December. The sales on Jade lots from 251 to 500 will continue through open tender on 21 December.

It is reported that 330 pearl lots were also sold through an open tender system between 18 and 19 December at the emporium. Jade lot numbers from 501-780 will be put on sales on 21 December as well.
