Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and his entourage asked after health condition of the Chief Patron Sayadaw of the Maha Wizitayon Buddhism Learning Centre in Chanayethazan Township, and the Chief Patron of the Maha Gandayon Monastery in Amarapura Township, south of Mandalay, on February 8.
After hearing the officials’ reports about the health conditions of the Sayadaws, the Senior General instructed officials to continuously monitor healthcare services for the Sayadaw and fulfill the needs in a timely manner. The Senior General and wife offered things, medicine, nutritious edible bird’s nest, foodstuffs and cash for nine prerequisites to the Sayadaws.
Then, the Senior General and wife visited Shwekyeemyin Pagoda and paid homage to various Buddha images from all parts of the nation, Anya Thihataw Pagoda, ShwekunOk Pagoda, Myatheintan Pagoda, Shwelinpin Pagoda and other Buddha images including Shwekyeemyin Buddha Image, it is reported.
