India Extends Import Permit of Myanmar's Pigeon Pea for One Year

The import permit for Myanmar’s pigeon pea has been extended by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry for an additional year to 31 March 2026. The extension will help farmer and enhance the trading of pigeon pea. About 300,000 tonnes of pigeon pea are produced annually in Myanmar, and more is anticipated this year, it is reported.
