Acting on a tip-off, the combined team comprising Anti-Narcotics Task Force members conducted a search on the residence of Janjaan in Weinkyauk Ward of Tachileik Township in Shan State (East) and seized illegal drugs including 141 kilos of ICE (Methamphetamine), 23 kilos of ketamine, and 128,000 Ecstasy tablets. According to the confession of the offender, the combined team searched the residence of Twan Long Phu, (aka) Ah Hwa, the owner of the seized drugs and arrested Twan Long Phu and Twan Shikwan together with two kilos of Happy Water, 16,000 Happy-5 pills, and nine kilos of Ecstasy powder. Legal action has been taken against three drug-related offenders, who were arrested together with the psychoactive drugs worth over 5.7 billion kyats in total, under the law, and officials are conducting ongoing investigations to identify the chain drug-related offenders, it is reported.
