Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing delivered a speech at the Passing-out Parade of the 26th Intake of Defence Services Technological Academy (DSTA) which was held at the parade ground of DSTA in Pyin Oo Lwin on 13 December.
First, the Senior General took the salutes of the cadet companies and inspected the cadet companies. After that, the cadet companies saluted the Senior General with slow-march past and quick-march past.
Next, the Senior General presented awards to the outstanding cadets of the 26th Intake of DSTA, respectively. He then delivered a graduation speech. The Senior General met five outstanding cadets and their relatives, and spokes words of honour at the parlour of the DSTA Headquarters. In his speech,
- As technology is rapidly developing with changes, it is necessary to continue studies with research to be able to catch up with the development of the world.
- They have to strie for achieving success of their missions and visions along their lives as a good soldier. They need to control themselves and uplift their capacity to become good leaders on whom families, Tatmadaw and the State can rely.
In the evening, the Senior General attended the graduation dinner to honour the 26th Intake of the DSTA at the cadet mess hall of the DSTA in PyinOoLwin. The Senior General had dinner together with graduate officers and dignitaries.
Later, the Senior General and party enjoyed the song entertainment of Myawady Entertainment Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare at the convocation hall.
Also present at the events along with the SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Thiri Pyanchi Sithu Maung Maung Aye and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Zeya Kyawhtin Htein Win and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Zeya Kyawhtin Sithu Tun Aung and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, union ministers, the Mandalay Region chief minister and wife, the Central Command commander, the DSTA commandant, officials from Pyin OoLwin Station, families and relatives of cadets and guests.
