Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister U Win Shein Attends the Ceremony commemorating Thailand's National Day and Father Day Reception

The ceremony to commemorate the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Thailand’s National Day and Thailand’s Father’s Day was held on 5 December at the Thailand Ambassador’s residence in Yangon. Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein and his wife were present on the occasion.

The ceremony first opened with the national anthems of Thailand and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar delivered a speech. Afterwards, the Deputy Prime Minister and his wife, and the ambassador and his wife, had a group photo taken with those attending the ceremony. Then, the guests watched the performance of the Thai cultural troupe. Then, the Thai Ambassador and wife hosted the dinner to the attendees.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister 2 for the SAC Chairman Office U Ko Ko Hlaing, Yangon Region Chief Minister and wife, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Ko Ko Kyaw and officials, foreign ambassadors, charge de affairs, military attaches, UN Resident Coordinators and invitees, reports say.
