Union Minister Dr. Thet Khaing Win Receives Delegation led by Senior Country Manager Mr. Dirk Gehl of GAVI

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win received Senior Country Manager Mr. Dirk Gehl of Geneva-based GAVI, Switzerland at the meeting hall of the Ministry on 29 November.

During the call, they frankly exchanged views on the progress in regular extended vaccine initiatives, supplement vaccination programmes and vaccination of Diarrhea which are being collaborated between the Ministry and GAVI, WHO and UNICEF organizations, and financial as well as technical support to be funded by GAVI for further cooperation measures.

Also present at the call were Deouty minister and other Myanmar officials and representatives of the Office of UNICEF and WHO in Myanmar, reports say.
