Sufficient Import and Distribution of Fuel Oil Ensure Domestic Fuel Oil Self-sufficiency, Facilitate Smooth Flow of Goods and Stability of Commodity Prices

Due to the efforts of the Supervisory Committee on the Import, Storage, and Distribution of Fuel Oil and the support of the Central Bank of Myanmar to purchase fuel oil with adequate foreign currency in a timely manner, oil tankers have arrived at the ports continuously. As a result, authorities are able to store enough fuel, including reserves, and distribute it sufficiently on a daily basis. Since the continuous decline in domestic fuel oil prices, public transportation has become more convenient and accessible, facilitating the smooth flow of goods greatly and contributing to the stabilization of commodity prices significantly, reports say.
