The opening ceremonies of polytechnic universities were held in Kengtung in Shan State (East), Panglong in Shan State (South), Myeik, and Dawei in Taninthayi Region, and Maubin in Ayeyawady Region on 21 November. Regional and state chief ministers, military commanders, departmental officials, teachers, students, and other invitees were present on the occasions.
The events commenced with the chief ministers, military commanders, and officials opening the universities by cutting ceremonial ribbons and unveiling the signages. Students then performed dances and songs, while officials distributed prizes to participants. Additionally, the chief ministers, military commanders, and officials toured the universities, viewing product displays and booths showcasing various scientific projects, reports say.
