Tazaungdine Festival and MSME Market Fair grandly Held

Tazaungdine lighting festival and MSME marker fair was grandly held in respective townships nationwide from 11 to 17 November as follows:

• On 14 November, the opening ceremony of the Tazaungdine market festival and music festival were held at People’s Square in Dagon Township of Yangon Region;
• On 14 November, the Bago Region Government organized the hot-air ballon launching ceremony at the ground of Bago Highways Station located on Shwemawdaw Pagoda Road, during which 1,500 small multicoloured hot-air balloons which was decorated picture bearing a letter of “Bago” and six giant hot-air balloons were released.
• On 15 November, Tatkone Township of Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory held Tazaungdine festival and MSME market fair, in addition to ox-cart beauty contest comprising more than 30 carts. Over 5,000 visitors joyously watched the release of 350 hot-air balloons and display of fireworks as well as entertainment programmes.
• For enabling the visitors to buy local products at affordable price, the events were also occupied by shops that sell MSME products, foodstuffs, personal goods and traditional Myanmar snacks. The event drew a large crowd who bought the products at the shops.

During the Tazaungdine festival period, a large crowd of visitors were seen at the shops of MSME products, personal goods and snacks, fun plays, musical performance stages, child playgrounds and photo booths for taking beauty photos, reports say.
