Opening ceremony of the second Mathoe Lotus Robe weaving and offering to Maravijaya Buddha Image was held at Fountain Square in the precinct of Buddha Park, Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on 14 November. Also present together with the Senior General and wife were the Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General and wife, the SAC Secretary and wife, the SAC Joint Secretary and wife, SAC members and wives, union level officials, union ministers and wives, officials and monks and laypersons.

The Senior General and his wife cut the ribbon to open the robe-weaving ceremony for the second time. All looms started their weaving process to make the robes. At that time, artistes from the Myanma Radio and Television under the Ministry of Information and artistes from the Myawady Band performed dances with the song. The attendees to the ceremony released hot-air balloons and lanterns.
