Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn and Delegates Attend Opening Ceremony of China-Myanmar Cultural Week, and 4th Twin City Media Forum

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, together with Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar, Consul-General of Yunan Province and officials, attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 China-Myanmar Cultural Week and the 4th Twin City Media Forum which was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China, on 12 November.

During the event, Union Minister said as follows:

• The booths depicting Bagan of Myanmar are included in the event to develop the tourism industry of both countries.
• The guideline of the head of the State is to emphasize the agricultural sector to produce agricultural, livestock, and MSME products as value-added products that add to the economic objectives of the country.
• Myanmar will work with China to create advanced media using modern technology like AI, starting from the fourth Twin City Media Forum.

After the opening ceremony, the dignitaries and attendees observed the booths of lacquerware displayed by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, tourism sceneries photo by the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, photos of Myanmar-China cooperation activities, and products of Yunnan Province.
