Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing Meets CPC Central Committee Member and Secretary of Chongqing Municipal Party Committee Mr. Yuan Jiajun

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in Chongqing, met Mr Yuan Jiajun, Central Committee Member of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, at Yuzhou Hotel in Chongqing, China, on 8 November.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the following matters:

• Progress of Chongqing, which is situated in a strategic location, the starting point of the Myanmar-Chongqing economic cooperation from the visit of Myanmar Prime Minister;
• Potentials for further collaboration with Myanmar depending on advantages of technologies and pivotal location for transport network of Chongqing,
• Potentials for science and technological cooperation, cultural exchange, promotion of education and tourism sectors.

The SAC Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, senior military officers and officials who are on the visit, the Myanmar ambassador to China attended the meeting. On the China’s side, the Chinese ambassador to Myanmar and other Chinese officials attended the occasion, it is reported.
