Union Ministers Receive ICRC Resident Representative

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khine Win received Ms, Elena Ajmone Sessera, ICRC Residence Representative, at relevant ministries on 1st of November.

• During the call with Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, they exchanged views on matters related to ICRC’s activities in Myanmar.
• During the call with Union Minister for Health, they discussed healthcare issues being cooperated between the Ministry of Health and the ICRC organization, technical assistance to be provided for installation of workshops to manufacture prosthetics and rehabilitation centers, matters related to conducting trainings and providing humanitarian assistance and further cooperation.

Also present were deputy ministers, directors-general, officials and other ICRC representatives, it is reported.
