Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung, together with Myanmar Ambassador to Laos U Aung Ko, Vice-Minister of Labour and Social Welfare of Laos PDR H.E. Mr. Phongxaysack INTHALATH, visited Best Garment (Laos) in Saysetha Development Zone, Vientiane on 23 October.
The Union Minister and delegation viewed round the factory and met Myanmar workers working at the factory. During the meeting with Myanmar workers, he stressed that it is essential to respect and adhere to the customs, traditions, and established laws of the host country. Furthermore, he added that the workers need to foster unity among citizens, ensure healthcare, fully realize the collaboration status between the two governments for the rights of migrant workers stated in the laws and send the remittance back to their families in Myanmar through legal channels, reports say.
