Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win received H.E. Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, at the SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw on 25 October.
At the meeting, they frankly exchanged views on the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation between Myanmar and China, peace and stability in the border region and internal peace issues, and sector-wise cooperation, including technology and information between the two armed forces.
Present at the meeting together with the Vice-Senior General were Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo and officials. The Chinese Ambassador was accompanied by the Chinese Military Attaché to Myanmar and embassy officials, it is reported.
