On 16 October, AA terrorists of insurgents opened fire on a vehicle with passengers, heading to Padan Township from Ann Township in Rakhine State. The attack injured two women and four men passengers. In addition, AA terrorists of insurgents stopped ten vehicles and abducted 24 men and 14 women forcibly.
With an aim to dominate public with fear, terrorists are committing acts of terrorism such as abduction, demand of money by extortion, merciless killings, mine attacks on passenger buses and wanton shootings with small arms against non-combatant of innocent civilians to death. So, local people are strongly condemning such acts of terrorism.
Security forces transported injured victims to the public hospital for medical treatment and continued to provide necessary security measures around the scene of the incident, it is reported.
