The 8th International Scientific and Practical Conference with the title of "Topical Issues of Human Rights Protection on Health Care" was held in a hybrid format in Moscow, Russia, on October 10. Representatives from the human rights commissions of 56 countries participated the meeting in person while representatives from the human rights commissions of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, as well as the chairman and members of the National Human Rights Commission of Myanmar as well as the director and staff of Department of International Relations attended via video conferencing.
The Chairman of Myanmar National Human Rights Commission said that the Commission emphasizes the right to health care as a fundamental human right and it is making ongoing efforts for education programs on human rights, including public literature at nursing universities in Yangon and Mandalay in order to enhance awareness of health-related human rights, it is reported.
