Vice-Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win Inspects Preparations to Organize 25th Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competitions 2024

Patron of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Silver Jubilee 25th  Anniversary of Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition      Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by union ministers, the chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, deputy ministers and officials inspected the preparations for successfully organizing the Silver Jubilee 25th Anniversary Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition on 12 October.

          First, the Vice-Senior General and party inspected the preparations for the event and rehearsals for the opening ceremony at the open-air theater and Myanmar International Convention Centre-II of Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee and the Vice-Senior General coordinated and attended to the needs after hearing the reports of officials. The Vice-Senior General cordially greeted the traditional orchestra of national races.

          Then, the Vice-Senior General and party proceeded to Nay Pyi Taw Transit Centre and inspected the preparations for mess halls, hostels, kitchens, restaurants and consumer product shops for convenient catering and accommodation of veteran artistes who will judge the competitions, contestants from states and regions, managers and parents and guardians, rehearsals of contestants, work process of subcommittees, and grouping of health and medical teams. He coordinated all measures and warmly greeted the maestros and contestants.

          The event will be organized with the four objectives of inspiring patriotism, conservation of national characteristics, identifying, conservation and promotion of traditional cultural characteristics of national races, propagation of conservation of cultural legacy and national spirit among new generation youths and encouraging them to cooperate in the national culture sector for development and stability.

          The competitions will last from 14 to 20 October, and more than 2,500 contestants from various regions and states will participate, reports say.
