A total of 42,000 data checkers and collectors will conduct the 2024 Enumeration Process of Population and Housing Census across the nation on 1-15 October for 15 days. In this context, the census-taking teams continue to conduct enumeration process in states and regions including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.
- On 1-7 October, the census-taking teams and supportive teams have been collecting data for 2024 population and housing census by door-to-door CAPI system with mobile tablets in each war of the townships in Yangon, Mandalay, Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyawady, Bago and Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Kayah, Kachin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan States including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.
- The Nationwide Census will be conducted in villages/towns in the states and regions on 1-15 October. Concerned authorities including state/region chiefs have observed door-to-door CAPI system.
There will be 68 census questions in total, with 27 more questions added for 2014, in order to provide more comprehensive information in 2024. Whether or not having household list form (66/6) or for (10) or CSCs or being ethnic people has no bearing on the data collection process for the census. The assets discovered by the census and the household members who are living overseas don't need to worry about you. No legal actions will be taken, it is reported.
