The Delegation led by Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung attended 21st ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (21st AACC) which was held in Cambodia from 15 to 17 September.
- On 15 September, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung met General Soeung Samnang of the Royal Cambodian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul of Thailand and Brigadier General Bounma Chanthavongsa on behalf of the Chief of the Lao Air Force. During the meeting, they cordially discussed bilateral cooperation in joint exercises for natural disaster prevention and close collaboration in humanitarian assistance and preventive measures against disaster between air forces.
- On 16 September, the General attended the 21st AACC. The ASEAN Air chiefs discussed the topic of “Enhancing Information Sharing and Cohesive Cooperation among ASEAN Air Forces for Peace and Development”.
- The General and ASEAN Air chiefs attended the dinner hosted by the Cambodian Air Chief on 17 September.
The Delegation led by Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung arrived back in Yangon on 18 September and they were welcomed by officials, it is reported.
