Ambassadors Appointed for Diplomatic Relations

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar appointed the following ambassadors on 14 September as the State Administration Council Government is making endeavours for internal stability as well as international diplomatic affairs conveniently. In this regard,

• As Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Belarus, U Thit Linn Ohn, Ambassador Extraordi­nary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Russian Federation has been concurrently appointed.
• As Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Arab Republic of Egypt, U Kyaw Tin Shein, Direc­tor-General of the Planning and Administrative Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been appointed.
• As Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of India, U Zaw Oo, Ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been appointed.

U Myo Myint Maung, Ambassador Extraor­dinary and Plenipoten­tiary of the Republic of the Union of My­anmar to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, presented his Credentials to the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal at the President’s Office in Kathmandu on 12 September 2024.

• The Ambassador of Myanmar to the Republic of Belarus, the Ambassador of Myanmar to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Ambassador of Myanmar to the Republic of India and the Ambassador of Myanmar to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal were appointed for diplomatic relations.
