Departmental Personnel and the People Donate Foodstuff in Honour to Security Personnel waging Just War through Regional Military Commands

Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force members, and people’s militiamen are carrying out their utmost efforts to defeat the terrorists conducting armed conflicts under the pretexts of politics, ethnicities, and expansion of their control of land. In fact, they are waging a Just War to safeguard the lives and property of the people. Consequently, departmental personnel and the people are donating cash and foodstuffs to Tatmadaw members and security personnel who make sacrifice for the Just War on the front line through regional military commands.

• The donations through the Nay Pyi Taw Command were as follows:
  • Departmental staff and families of office of State Administrative Council and Ministry Office 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Chairman of the State Administration Council, family’s member of the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP), Burmese Youth Association, departmental staff and families of Sirikhetra foundation and Generous donators donated K 14.561 million and K 16.997 million worth of foodstuffs through Nay Pyi Taw Command. The Command’s Commander presented certificates of honour.
  • Departmental staff and families of Supreme Court of Myanmar donated K5 million and K3 million worth of foodstuffs. Departmental staff and families of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture donated K 10.68 million worth of foodstuffs. Departmental staff and families of National Assembly of Myanmar (Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Office) donated K 1 million. Departmental staff and families of Pyithu Hluttaw office donated K 2 million. Departmental staff and families of Amyotha Hluttaw office donated K 1 million through Nay Pyi Taw Command.
• The donations through the Eastern Command were as follows:
  • Departmental staff and families of Shan State government donated 10 million worth of foodstuffs through Deputy Commander of the Eastern Command.
• The donations through the Central Command were as follows:
  • The officials of Mandalay Region government handed over K 20 million worth of foodstuffs, donated by generous donators through the Central Command. The Command’s Commander presented certificates of honour.

The said-foodstuffs will be transported by Tatmadaw aircrafts, helicopters and vehicles to Tatmadaw members and security forces on the front line, reports say.
