- Each member of the military, having taken this oath, must remain loyal to themselves, their organization, and their country, maintaining a strong conviction.
- Just as the Tatmadaw is a part of the state, the military personnel are also part of the people, originating from among the citizens.
- They form a committed group sworn to defend the nation, even at the cost of their lives, making them the highest body for the country.
- Additionally, as members of the state service, they must carry out their duties impartially, free from political party affiliations, and engage only in matters concerning the state’s affairs and national interests.
- They perform their duties for the country’s development in accordance with the Constitution.
- In terms of welfare, Tatmadaw is providing as much as it can, and the governing levels also need to provide welfare activities for their troops.
