Union Ministers Receive Bangladeshi Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation U Min Naung received H.E. Dr. Md. Monwar Hossain, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Myanmar, at the relevant ministries in Nay Pyi Taw on 22 and 23 August.

• During the call between Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs and Bangladeshi Ambassador, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further consolidation of existing friendly ties and expansion of cooperation in various fields of mutual interest, including trade and investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges between Myanmar and Bangladesh
• During the call between Union Minister for Agriculture Livestock and Irrigation and Bangladeshi Ambassador, they cordially discussed the matters relating to agricultural produce and aquatic products sectors of the two countries and cooperation in food security and surplus in the region.

The director generals and departmental officials attended the meetings. It is reported.
