The entire population has already been informed not to follow the incitements and propaganda created by CRPH and NUG declared as terrorist groups, their subordinates. In spite of that, some unscrupulous persons are making incitements and propaganda to disrupt the State peace and stability via social media. Therefore, necessary actions have been taken against them under the law. In this regard:
- From 15 to 20 August 2024, two people from Mandalay Region, another two people from Bago Region and one person from Ayeyarwady Region, five people in total were arrested.
- From 27 January 2022 to 20 August 2024, legal actions were taken against a total of 2,148 people under the law.
It is reported that necessary actions will be continued against such instigators and unscrupulous persons making propaganda and instigations.
