The 142nd Myanmar’s South Sea Pearl Emporium 2024 has been held at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw from 12 August to 15 August, and it sold 700 lots of 175,000 pieces of South Sea pearl through the open tender system. In this regard:
- On the third day, 14 August, a total of 184 pearl lots out of the 230 pearl lots from Tenders 3 to 4 were sold.
- On the fourth day, 15 August, a total of 120 pearl lots from lots no (461) to (580) pearl lots of Tenders 5 and a total of 196 pearl lots from lots no (581) to (700) pearl lots of Tender 6 were sold.
- a total of 14 lots of pearl which were failed to win the tender proposals from Tender 1 to Tender 5, and as such, a total of 210 pearl lots were sold yesterday.
The 142nd Myanmar South Sea Pearl Emporium was successfully held by selling 177 out of 230 pearl lots on the second day, 184 out of 230 pearl lots on the third day and 196 out of 240 pearl lots on the fourth day in addition to 14 more pearl lots, respectively, for both local and foreign merchants with the open tender system under the management of Myanmar South Sea Pearl Emporium Committee, it is reported.
