Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force members, and people’s militiamen are carrying out their utmost efforts to defeat the terrorists conducting armed conflicts under the pretexts of politics, ethnicities, and expansion of their control of land. In fact, they are waging a Just War to safeguard the lives and property of the people. Consequently, departmental personnel and the people are donating cash and foodstuffs to Tatmadaw members and security personnel who make sacrifice for the Just War on the front line through regional military commands.
Departmental personnel and the people are donating cash and foodstuffs for security personnel through Nay Pyi Taw Command on 14 and 15 August. In this regard:
- Departmental staff and families of Ministry of Home Affairs donated 30 million kyats and K20 million worth of foodstuffs,
- UEC staff and families donated 5 million kyats and K2.2 million worth of foodstuffs,
- Departmental staff and families of Ministry of Border Affairs donated 10 million kyats and K30 million worth of foodstuffs,
- Departmental staff and families of Ministry of Energy donated over K45 million worth of foodstuffs,
- Departmental staff and families of Union Civil Service Board (UCSB) and trainees of Civil Service Academies donated 6.3 million kyats and K11 million worth of foodstuffs,
- Graduated commissioned officers of DSA 17th Intake and their families donated 1.7 million kyats,
- Departmental staff and families of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union donated over K3.5 million and over K1.4 million worth of foodstuffs,
- Departmental staff and families of Ministry of Foreign Affairs donated K20 million worth of foodstuffs for security personnel through Nay Pyi Taw Command. The SAC member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Union Ministers, Commission Chairs and donors respectively made the said-donation to the Command’s Commander.
- On 15 August, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, Myanmar Music Association, Myanmar Theatre Association and Generous donators donated over K39.9 million and over K3.6 million worth of foodstuffs in honour to Yangon Command. The Command’s Commander presented certificates of honour.
The said-foodstuffs will be transported by Tatmadaw aircrafts, helicopters and vehicles to Tatmadaw members and security forces on the front line, reports say.
