Departmental Personnel and the People Provide Foodstuff in Honour to the Security Personnel serving National Defence and Security Duties in their Just War through Regional Military Commands

Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force members, and people militiamen, who are carrying out their utmost efforts to fight back against the terrorists conducting armed conflicts under the pretexts of politics, ethnicities, and expansion of their land of control, are waging a just war to protect the lives and property of the people. Departmental personnel and the people donated cash and foodstuffs to Tatmadaw members and security personnel who make sacrifice for just war on the front line through regional military commands.

• Staff families of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with Myanmar Embassies and Consulate-General Offices in foreign countries donated K20 million worth of foodstuffs, as well as, staff families of the Ministry of Border Affairs donated K30 million worth of foodstuffs to Nay Pyi Taw Command.
• The Yangon Region government and departmental staff donated K28.77559 million worth of foodstuffs to Yangon Command.
• Generous donors provided over K2.1 million worth of foodstuffs to South-Western Command through the Commander Maj-Gen Wai Lin who returned certificates of honour.
• Bago Region government and the people from Interfaith Friendship Organization in Bago region donated a second round of donations over K10 million worth of foodstuffs to Southern Command.

The said-foodstuffs will be transported by Tatmadaw aircrafts, helicopters and vehicles to Tatmadaw members and security forces on the front line, reports say.
