As MNDAA terrorist of insurgent group committed inhumane and heinous crimes such as bloody massacres of doctors, nurses and innocent civilians including women as well as children and abduction of them who were undergoing medical treatment following the terrorists raid on the military hospital of Lashio in Shan State (North). In this regard, people staged rallies against MNDAA’s inhumane attacks at the following places:
- On 9 August, the rally was staged at the City Hall in Zambuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area,
- On 10 August, the rally was staged at clock tower on Bogyoke Road in ward (3) of Ha-An, Kayin State.
Then, the people who attended the rallies demonstrated in peaceful manner holding the placards written “We strongly protest and condemn MNDAA terrorist group which inhumanely committed massacre of hundreds of innocent civilians,” “We bow to members of the Tatmadaw, MPF and peoples’ militia who sacrifice their lives in the battle fof the State and the people”. They also shouted the slogan of “ We don’t want terrorists who are mercilessly killing innocent civilians,” “Elimination of terrorist groups- Our course,” “Down with terrorist groups who kill the people,” and “Let’s drive the devils back to restore peace in Myanmar”.
