Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force members, and people militiamen, who are carrying out their utmost efforts to fight back against the terrorists conducting armed conflicts under the pretexts of politics, ethnicities, and expansion of their land of control, are waging a just war to protect the lives and property of the people. Departmental personnel and the people donated cash and foodstuffs to Tatmadaw members and security personnel who make sacrifice for just war on the front line through regional military commands.
The donations through the Nay Pyi Taw Command were as follows:
- Staff families of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement donated K10 million and over K6 million worth of foodstuffs.
- Staff families of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs donated K4.2 million and 5.7 million worth of foodstuffs.
- Staff families of the Anti-Corruption Commission donated over K4.76 million worth of foodstuffs.
- Staff families of the Central Bank of Myanmar donated K0 million and K5 million worth of foodstuffs.
- Graduated officers of the 99th Intake Cadet Course and their families donated over K9.9 million worth of foodstuffs.
- National brotherhoods in Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore and US donated K7.1 million.
- Families of BhoneSanKyaw Construction Company donated K3 million worth of foodstuffs.
The donations through the Eastern Command were as follows:
- Volunteers and donors of the Shan State Government donated foodstuffs and clothing to the Deputy Commander of the Eastern Command.
The said-foodstuffs will be transported by Tatmadaw aircrafts, helicopters and vehicles to Tatmadaw members and security forces on the front line, reports say.
