Departmental Personnel and the People Donate Foodstuff in Honour to the Tatmadaw Members and Security Personnel who Safeguard People’s Lives and Property through Regional Military Commands

Departmental personnel and the people donated cash and foodstuffs to Tatmadaw members and security personnel who make sacrifice for national defence and security duty on the frontline through regional military commands.

The donations through the Nay Pyi Taw Command were as follows:

• Staff families of the Ministry of Planning and finance donated K11 million and K30 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Staff families of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation donated K12 million and 5 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Staff families of Ministry of Industry donated over K4.5 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Staff families of Ministry of Immigration and Population donated over K25 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Staff families of Ministry of Labour donated over K25 million and K12.9 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Staff families of Ministry of Science and Technology donated over K8.4 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Staff families of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs donated over K11 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Staff families of Ministry of Office of the Auditor General of the Union donated over K6 million and K4 million worth of foodstuffs.
• Graduated officers of the 85th Intake Cadet Course and their families donated over K8.5 million. The command commander presented certificates of honour and extended words of thanks.
• Shan State Government donated K13.2 million and over K24.6 million worth of foodstuffs to Eastern Command.
• Mon State Government donated over K21.2 million worth of foodstuffs to South-eastern Command.
• Tanintharyi Region Government donated over K12.9 million and over K24.1 million worth of foodstuffs to Coastal Region Command.
• National Human Rights Commission donated foodstuffs to Yangon Command.
• Ayeyarwady Region Government donated over K31.1 million worth of foodstuffs to South-western Command.
• Mandalay Region Government donated over K31.2 million worth of foodstuffs to Central Command. The Command Commander received them and presented certificates of honour.

The said-foodstuffs will be transported by Tatmadaw aircrafts, helicopters and vehicles to Tatmadaw members and security forces on the front line, reports say.
