25 Social and Religious Organizations Make Statements to Express Protest and Condemnation against MNDAA Terrorists' Attacks on Military Hospitals in Lashio, Shan State (North)

MNDAA terrorists of insurgents waged battles in Lashio of Shan State (North) and launched electrically-initiated rocket attacks and drone attacks as well as shelled non-military targets of military hospitals, killing and injuring local residents, departmental personnel and families of security personnel. Terrorists then made forced arrest of patients. Again, MNDAA terrorists of insurgents launched electrically-initiated rocket attacks and drone attacks as well as shelled non-military targets of urban wards in Lashio, causing casualties and forcing other locals to displace from their homes temporarily.

As such inhumane and heinous terrorist acts that constitute war crime were unacceptable, Young Men’s Buddhist Association - YMBA (Central), Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Group (Central), Myanmar Evangelical Christian Alliance (Central), The Methodist Church (Lower Myanmar), Faith Evangelical Church (Bago), Liberation Church (Yangon), All Myanmar Hindu Central Council, All Myanmar Tamil Hindu Foundation (H.Q), Sananta Dharmapalaka (Hindu) League, Myanmar Islamic Organization, Myanmar Press Council, Myanmar Sports Media Federation, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, Myanmar Music Association, Myanmar Artists Organization (Central), Myanmar Theatrical Organization (Central), Myanmar Comedians’ Association, Myanmar Writers’ Association, Pinnaygone Rakhine Jaame Mosque, Buthidaung-Maungtaw Development Association, Myanmar Medical Council, Myanmar Traditional Medicine Council, Myanmar Private Hospital’s Association, Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Council and Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Association respectively issued statements to express their protests and condemnation against the said-terrorist attacks, reports say.
