The entire population has already been informed not to follow the incitements and propaganda created by CRPH and NUG declared as terrorist groups, their subordinates. In spite of that, some unscrupulous persons are making incitements and propaganda to disrupt the State peace and stability via social media. Therefore, necessary actions have been taken against them under the law. In this regard:
- From 17 to 23 July 2024, one person from Nay Pyi Taw Council area and four people from Mandalay region, five people in total were arrested.
- From 27 January 2022 to 23 July 2024, legal actions were taken against a total of 2,109 people under the law.
It is reported that necessary actions will be continued against such instigators and unscrupulous persons making propaganda and instigations.
