Union Minister Dr. Soe Win Receives ICRC Resident Representative in Myanmar

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win met a delegation led by Ms. Elena Ajmone Sessera, Resident Representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), at the minister’s office in Nay Pyi Taw on 23 July. During the meeting, they frankly discussed ICRC’s activities in Myanmar, raising awareness on the danger of mine, physical rehabilitation for mine-affected people, and ICRC cooperation with the ministry.

Also present were directors-general from Department of Disaster Management and Department of Rehabilitation, staff officers in related fields and ICRC representatives.
