Peace for Diversity Party Allowed to be registered as a Political Party

As of 15 July 2024, Peace for Diversity Party, with its headquarters located in Mahawgani Street, Htaukkyant Extension Ward, Mingaladon Township, Yangon Region, has been allowed to register under Section 9 of the Polity Parties Registration Law by Union Election Commission.

17 parties have applied for the permission to establish a political party under Section 3 of the Political Parties Registration Law, and 50 parties have applied for the right to continue as political parties and registration under Section 25 of the Political Parties Registration Law, bringing the total to 67 parties. Up to 15 July, 50 political parties have been approved to register by Union Election Commission.
