State Administration Council Member Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye Receives Indian Ambassador to Myanmar

State Administration Council Member Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye received a delegation led by H.E. Mr. Abhay Thakur, Indian Ambassador to Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw on 16 July. During the meeting, they discussed the matters related to the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation as Myanmar and India are neighboring and friendly countries, cooperation in security issues, peace and stability and rule of law along the border of the two countries, defence activities, trainee exchanges, military cooperation and joint exercises, it is reported.
