Blacklisting of Ex-Service Personnel Eased

Some government employees of Union-level organizations and ministries have been blacklisted by their respective departments for abandoning their workplaces without permission due to various circumstances. This situation has resulted in human resource losses and adversely affected the social lives of the employees involved.

To mitigate these impacts, the government has decided to remove employees from the blacklist based on their reasons for absence and will help them reintegrate within the boundaries of the law. It is hereby announced that those ex-service personnel are urged to report to their respective departments as of 15 July 2024. Moreover, they are advised to report to their previous assigned department offices at their current place or nearby sub-townships, townships, districts, regions, and state administration bodies. Alternatively, they can report to Myanmar Embassies, Military Attaché Offices, and Consul-General Offices.
