CBM Governor and Deputy Ministers Receive Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar

Central Bank of Myanmar Governor Daw Than Than Swe, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Wah Wah Maung and Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint separately received Mrs. Ponnamperuma Arachchige Prabashini Ponnamperuma, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Myanmar, at the respective ministries in Nay Pyi Taw on 12 July.

• During the meeting between Central Bank of Myanmar Governor and Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar, they frankly discussed promoting trade and investment between the two countries and financial matters.
• During the meeting between Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar, both sides frankly discussed enhancing economic and investment cooperation, the investment sector, and the facilitation of financial matters between Myanmar and Sri Lan ka.
• During the meeting between Deputy Minister for Education and Sri Lankan Ambassador to Myanmar, they cordially discussed promoting the friendship between the two countries through educational cooperation between Myanmar and Sri Lanka, applied research collaboration aiding MSMEs, the establishment of partner universities and private university investment.

Directors-general, permanent secretaries and departmental heads of the Ministries were also present on the occasions, it is reported.
