On 4 July, a combined force comprising KNPP/KNDF group and PDF terrorists shelled the Technology University, Mya Klub Hill, Thiridaw Junction and other locations in Loikaw. The shells reportedly landed on Lawka Dhamma, Nant Bawwan (A), Ywadan Shay and Kyauk Tan wards, killing one local and injuring 10 others including four children.
The combined force comprising KNPP/KNDF group and PDF terrorists is willfully launching shell attacks against residential houses in the wards/villages to make peaceable local people in Loikaw frightened and paralyze the Government’s administrative machinery. Thus, the local residents are opposing terrorists’ such heinous acts of violence. Likewise, the public, in collaboration with security personnel, is conducting counter-terrorism operations for peace and stability as well as law and order, report says.
