Since terrorists of insurgents are shelling villages and townships where innocent people live and waging battles, religious buildings, residential houses, schools and departmental buildings were wrecked and the property and lives of the civilians were lost. In this regard,
- On 3 July, terrorists of insurgents launched electrically-initiated rocket attacks against Lashio of Shan State (North), the rocket shells landed on a house in Tharyar Street of ward (1) in area (3) of Lashio. During the attack, six people, including three children aged 12 and 14, one male and two females were killed.
- Around 4:30 p.m. on that day, the terrorists of insurgents launched electrically-initiated rocket attacks against Lashio again. One rocket shell landed on Pan Oak monastery in ward (5) in area (1) of Lashio, injuring four males and three females. Another one shell fell on a house in ward (4) in area (3) killing one male and injuring one woman and one child.
- On 4 July, the terrorists of insurgents launched electrically-initiated rocket attacks against Lashio. The rocket shells landed on the houses in Sein Pan Street in Ward (9) of Area (3), Sabai Street in Ward (9) of Area (1), and Kyan taingaung Street in Ward 9 of Area 1, killing three people including two men and one woman and seriously injuring two including one male and one female.
- Moreover, the terrorists launched electrically-initiated rocket attack at noon, and the shells landed on No (15) Basic Education Post-Primary School in Ward (9) of Area (2), and school buildings were destroyed.
Terrorists of insurgents have launched electrically-initiated rocket attacks against residential houses of wards in Lashio since 3 July, killing ten people, including three children aged 12 and 14, four males and three females and injuring some of the civilians seriously.
Willful terrorist attacks on non-military targets of towns and wards where the peaceable civilians live constitute the war crime. Thus, the security force members conducted counter-terrorism operations together with locals, it is reported.
