Efforts made to Increase Exports in the Fiscal Year of 2024-2025

In the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase exports via border trade posts and regular trade routes. In this regard;

• From 1 April to 14 June in this fiscal year, Myanmar has earned USD 1,191.918 million from the export of agro- products to foreign markets via private sector. Compared to the corresponding year last year, it has earned USD 460.007 million more.
• From 1 April to 21 June in this fiscal year, Myanmar has earned USD 1.71 million from the export of animal products to foreign markets via private sector. Compared to the corresponding year last year, it has earned USD 0.14 million more.
• From 1 April to 21 June in this fiscal year, Myanmar has earned USD 1,894.707 million from the export of CMP products to foreign markets: USD 752.605 million via government agencies and USD 1,142.112 million via private sector.
• From 1 April to 21 June in this fiscal year, Myanmar has earned USD 3,211.407 million from the export of agricultural, animal, fishery, mineral, forestry, CMP and other products to foreign markets.

Even though the functions of border trade posts with China has suspended due to terrorists and insurgents, export of products are being increased via maritime trade routes, reports say.
