Efforts made to Increase Exports in the Fiscal Year of 2024-2025

In the tenure of State Administration Council Government, efforts are being made to increase exports via border trade posts and regular trade routes. In this regard;

Over two-month period from 1 April to 7 June in the fiscal year of 2024-2025:

  • Myanmar has earned USD 36.181 million from the export of mineral products to foreign markets: USD 0.488 million via government agencies and USD 35.693 million via private sector.
  • Myanmar has earned USD 11.06 million from the export of forestry products to foreign markets: USD 0.193 million via government agencies and USD 10.903 million via private sector.
  • Myanmar has earned USD 2,623.678 million from the export of agriculture, animal, fishery, mineral, forestry, CMP and other products to foreign markets.

Even though the functions of border trade posts with China has suspended due to terrorists and insurgents, export of products are being increased via maritime trade routes, reports say.
