State Administration Council is extending invitation to those from opposing armed organizations under various names including PDFs to return to legal fold. In this regard:
- On 14 June, a total of four male PDF members from Thayet Township of Magway Region were entrusted to the care of their parents and guardians after they had signed the document of pledge. Moreover, the officials of the relevant regional government also provided supplies and foodstuffs to the returnees.
State Administration Council welcomes and provides necessary assistance to the people who returned to legal fold. Cash rewards are also provided for weapons. Moreover, they are being entrusted to the care of their parents and guardians. Up to 14 June 2024, a total of 747 persons including 588 males and 159 females have already returned the legal fold, it is reported.
