Ceremony to provide basic commodities, construction materials and office stationeries to departmental staff and temporarily displaced persons was held at the Kayah State Hall on 11 June. Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, Major General Naing Naing Oo from Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of Eastern Command, members of Kayah state government and officials, departmental officials, temporarily displaced persons from wards and villages attended the ceremony.
State Chief Minister, Major General Naing Naing Oo from Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and the Commander of Eastern Command delivered the speech on matters related to cooperating with the local people for keeping stability and making development of the region. They provided supplies as follows;
- They provided cash assistance and foodstuffs to military personnel and members of Myanmar Police Force taking security measures in Kayah state.
- They provided rice, oil, beans, cash assistance and office stationeries to departmental officials who return to work.
- They provided rice, cooking oil and cash assistance to temporarily displaced persons from four wards and one village tract.
- They provided sacks of cement and sheets of zinc for religious buildings.
After the ceremony, State Chief Minister and party cordially greeted and encouraged departmental officials and locals who attended the ceremony, it is reported.
