The Tatmadaw Provides Healthcare Services to Locals in Loikaw

As the peace and stability have been restored around Loikaw, the Tatmadaw medical team under the command of Eastern Command provided healthcare services to the local residents at the monasteries and schools in Leitad, Kone Thar, Htiri and Kayan Tharyar villages of Loikaw in Kayah State on 8 June. In this regard:

• A total of 1,135 local people provided with medical treatment in dental and oral diseases, ENT-related diseases, orthopaedic disease, pediatric diseases and general diseases.
• Similarly, Taunggyi- Hsihseng- Loilemlay-Loikaw Road has reopened and medial treatment has been undergone to locals in the villages at the roadsides of the road since 30 May 2024.

The officials from Loikaw military station encouraged such healthcare services and provided the locals with rice, dried fish and foodstuffs, it is reported.
