Under the guidance of the relevant region and state governments, food supplies were provided to Temporarily Displaced Persons in Myitkyina Town of Kachin State and Hsi Hseng Township of Shan State (South) with an intent to facilitate their living conditions.
- On 31 May, Kachin State Chief Minister provided 346 rice bags and 346 cartons of instant noodles for 1,765 people of 346 households at 18 places in Myitkyina.
- On 2 June, 2,564 rice bags for one month (at a rate of two rice cans per person) were provided to 8,206 residential people in six wards and six other villages in Hsi Hseng Township.
- From 3 to 4 June, 2,098 rice bags were provided to 2,238 Temporarily Displaced Persons in Monywa township of Sagaing Region.
The region and state governments have been making concerted efforts immediately such as education, health and drinking water for those temporarily displaced persons.
