Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered a speech at the meeting with senior officer instructors, senior officer lecturers, faculty members, officers and cadets at the convocation hall of Defence Services Academy (DSA) in PyinOoLwin on 30 May.
During the event, the SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services delivered a speech as follows:
- Instructors have to give systematic military and literary training combined with their experiences to junior officers and cadets to turn out future leaders with firm spirit on whom the State, Tatmadaw and people rely, and junior officer trainees, and cadets have to conduct learning with firm spirit to benefit the State and Tatmadaw.
- Each trainee must be trained to have physical and mental capacity with health and fitness.
- To defend the nation, it is crucial to perform one’s responsibilities diligently.
- Furthermore, it is necessary for each individual to acquire education and be enriched with knowledge for the improvement and advancement of their social lives.
- Instructors and students need to read literature, in addition to, remember the summary of the books to have a broader scope of knowledge and to become well-informed individuals.
- Instructors need to teach and train systematically, and trainees also need to practice and learn with full efforts.
- Those taking responsibility of guardians in relevant groups of trainees need to forge a brotherly spirit and family spirit to lead the trainees with correct leadership and guideline so as to handle the life of trainees.
- Trainees need to learn with full efforts, maintaining discipline to ensure their personal development and meet the expectations of the nation and the Tatmadaw. Later, the Senior General fulfilled the requirements of the instructors, trainees and cadets.
Present at the event along with the SAC Chairman Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services were Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Zwe Win Myint, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Central Command commander, officials of PyinOoLwin Station, and commandant, senior officer instructors, senior officer lecturers, faculty members, officers and cadets of the DSA.
